My name is Dominique. I hail from Greensboro, NC but currently reside in Atlanta. I am a proud HBCU grad from THE Winston-Salem State University (Go Rams!!) and a MFA in Writing graduate student at Savannah College of Art and Design.
For me, writing is my safe haven. It’s what keeps me going and gets me through the rough times. I created queenDOMsized to showcase my passion in writing as well as share my thoughts, ideas, and opinions on various topics. As a young black woman who rarely sees other writers who look and think like her, it is very important to me to have my voice heard. queenDOMsized is a place for me and my followers to feel free and proud who we are and not be afraid to share our stories.
It is my hope to use this platform to advocate for the advancement and change within the writing community, especially writers of color. Through my musings and writings, I aim to give my readers new insight and perspectives as well as have fun and showcase different styles.
So, here it is. No hype, no glass, no pretense. Just me, stripped.
Thank you for reading!
